ChemCon GmbH, Contract Manufacturing Organization (CMO) for specialty drug substances and fine chemicals, has won awards in five categories of the 2018 CMO Leadership Awards: Capabilities, Compatibility, Expertise, Quality and Service in the groups Small Pharma and Overall.

The CMO Leadership Awards recognize the highest quality contract manufacturing organizations as chosen by real customers. To determine the award recipients, Life Science Leader magazine teamed up with Industry Standard Research (ISR). More than 110 contract manufactures were assessed by 23 performance metrics in ISR’s annual Contract Manufacturing Quality Benchmarking survey. The participants were recruited from pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical companies of all sizes. Respondents only evaluate companies with which they have worked on an outsourced project within the past 18 months. This level of qualification ensures that survey responses are based on actual involvement with contract manufacturers and clear experiential data.
The 2018 CMO Leadership Awards ceremony and reception took place at the W Hotel in New York City on Wednesday, March 21.
