Local health authorities grant ChemCon permission to continue important test analyses that exclude microbiological contamination in API products or production facilities.
At ChemCon, occupational safety standards receive upmost importance. When working with bacteria and fungi of risk groups 1 and 2, comprehensive precautions to avoid infection of laboratory staff are essential. During the inspection, the authority verified compliance with all protective measures and laboratory conditions. ChemCon receives permission to continue working with pathogens of risk groups 1 and 2 according to the German infection protection law (Infektionsschutzgesetz, IfSG). With this excellent result, ChemCon's microbiology experts are able to continue compulsory tests to exclude microbiological contamination (bioburden) on products as well as for clean room monitoring in the future. Targeted-recovery experiments (validations, verifications, growth control) according to Pharmacopoeia (USP, Ph.Eur.) with the reference germs stored at ChemCon are also approved without restriction.
